5 hours in winter - 6 hours in summer (East coast of the United States)

Currency:
Euro on the French side and U.S dollars on the Dutch side. However, the USD is widely accepted on the French side and most bars/restaurants will accept 1 euro/1 dollar for drinks at the bar as well as beach chairs and umbrellas.

No immunization required. There is a hospital in both Saint Martin & Sint Marteen.

Language:
French is the official language on the French side but English is spoken everywhere.
